30th April Caymans day two {C2K week 6 day 6]

A day to recover from yesterdays long journey, Clair took me for a walk along the coast through the remains of a complex that was flattened by Hurricane Ivan  in 2004 it is now almost totally reclaimed by nature. I was pleased to see my first ever Frigate Bird and we also saw a Camaynian Mocking bird and quite a number of butterflies.

Latter in the day Thomas took me for a walk around the sea front area of George Town visiting a number of the Tourist shops mainly servicing the Cruise Ships visiting Grand Cayman.

After dropping Thomas at football training we went for a walk around Camana Bay a shopping centre of interest where the brass sculptures of Iguana dotted around and the open drum workshop where I managed to get some Cajon practice in.

  1. Lovely Stephen, looks really beautiful and somewhat of a change. The sculptures are eye catching and funnily enough we had Fresh Tuna last night for dinner, never had before. Carrying on enjoying yourself and sharing the views also get some nice sunshine to store up.
