The Lakes Deserted

That's right with the weather forecast saying rain for most of the the Lake District we went East in to Yorkshire and visited Ingleton where there is a walk around a series of water falls  the weather was overcast so some of the photos are a bit dull and the water is full of run off from the peat on the fells.

These steps were rather wet

I was really taken by the difference in the two streams colour

Heavy rain this morning delayed our departure but it dried up enough for us to have a picnic lunch on the shores of Windermere
