Now we depart

On Monday morning at 9:30 we left Kolping and with Judes able driving skills headed for Entebbe Airport. Traffic in Kampala was not as heavy as we had expected so we had a twenty minute break at a cafe on the shores of Lake Victoria there was a strong wind from the east so the lake looked quite rough.


From Entebbe we fly to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi, Kenya. Sadley we had an eight hour lay-over here.

We landed back at Heathrow at 6:20 in the morning on 18th August

    I remember that airport well from our time on the field! Part of it burnt down just after we left I remember. Glad you got back to the UK safe :)
