C2K week 9 day 1

Should have got out early and done a really long ride but in the end when I did go the sun came out and I did the full 14.48 in a T-shirt!!

Rode across Faversham out to ward Sittingbourne then down to Norton Ash and stopped at Norton Church 'The Church in the Orchard'. Another church that is permanently locked but this time there are contact details for key holders and a notice that says its open every Saturday & Sunday from Easter to Harvest so may be I'll go that way again tomorrow.

There is a very old and heavily fissure Ewe tree in the grave yard I quite like the patterns in the trunk so tried a bit arty sepia photography.
my netbook screen has just started playing up again so I hope it looks alright!!

C2K week 8 day 7

Car had to be taken to Ashford for service MOT ect, suppose I should have put the bike on the roof and put some miles in there but I spent most of the morning with my niece and her 18 month old son as I had bought some gifts back from Cayman for them. 
When I got home I did a 6.51 cycle ride via the polling station half way round the heavens opened!! thank goodness I'd managed to find a new waterproof in the shopping centre in Ashford.

So last night after I wrote the blog I cycled to one of my local pubs 1.75 miles then today I have had to split my ride in two because of other commitments so that's two rides of 5.62 miles total 12.99 miles since I last totaled things up.

C2K week 9 day 4

Well back to my home roads and a trip out to Seasalter calling at the little church there unfortunately it was not open. I'll have to try and find out where the key can be obtained from. 

Stopped on the sea wall at the Sportsman to have some lunch the sky was much as the last few weeks but the sea and beach look very different.

I then cycled back to Faversham via the creak I felt good having got back to town so decided to visit Luddenham Church another church managed by the Historic Churches Trust and much larger than I expected.

Back home C2K week 9 day 3

Back home again so it should be back to some serious cycling but...... only 4.79 miles as I cycled out to Brogdale Farm to meet up with the kite club.
