Shropshire

From Worcestershire we moved on to Shropshire, Cleobury Mortimer to be precise, for the Shropshire Kite Festival.
Only a few photos from here and some borrowed from another attender because my camera battery ran out!!! Bad planning!

The Aquarium

So how many people does it take to put a kite together??
Well when it contains 120 cells and each cell has two spares that's 240 spares it takes a lot of people a lot of time!! It did fly sadly my camera had shut down by then!!!

{The kite is an expandable Box designed and made by Jørgen Møeller Hansen in 1988 and flown by Felix Mottram and his team, they received a trophy for best Team Effort for the weekend}

And finally me flying my 60th birthday present with the builder and his wife. {Photos by Marian Linford}

Sarah Longbottom and I discuss the finer details of The Binsbergen Phoenix

Sarah Longbottom was flying the deep red and gold and Karl Longbottom the black green and white one
