On our return from Sandrigham house the site were celebrating their 25th anniversary cake and bubbly enjoyed by all campers!
On the Friday we went to Bure Valley Railway who were also celebrating 25 years.
It's a 15" narrow gauge railway built on the route of the former Aylsham to Wroxham branch line
Halfway down the line is a passing place and this was coming toward us
MARSHLANDER!!!
Yes the good old Winston Churchill from the Romney Hythe and Dymchurch Railway!!!
It seems that when the Bure Valley first started they couldn't afford to buy locomotives so borrowed two from the RH&DR so to celebrate their silver jubilee Winston Churchill and Green Goddess had been invited back.
Think this one may have been named after a Kentish Ale!
Above Green Goddess and Spitfire at Wroxham Station.
We returned to Aylsham being drawn by Green Goddess she did struggle up the incline out of Wroxham the 'hills' of Norfolk being a bit steeper than her usual Marshlands of the Kent Coast.

That's it this is where my battery failed and I had left my charger at home!!
