C2K week 5 day four

A gentle ride today covering 8.54 miles including two stops at sites of historic interest in the area.

Church of St Bartolemew Goodnestone , now redundant but cared for by the  Churches Conservation Trust

Beautifully decorated stone font

A nice touch flowers in a redundant church
Close up of the flowers

Lovely detail on the flower stand
Leaving Goodenstone I cycled back to town along the Creek then into Abbey street up to Davington narrowly missing the Paperatzie laying siege to the parish church, then down to Chart Mill one of the many Mills that originally bought fame and fortune to the town of Faversham.

Inside Chart Mill this was an incorporating mill

The drive drain from the water wheel.
