So today we did the real tourist thing we visited The Lakeland Motor Museum! Actual it was quite interesting with not only complete cars but lots of bonnet ornaments lights etc. and and amazing collection of bicycles from a replica of an old hobby horse to a modern electric hybrid that is available to rent in the Lake District.
Guess who owned this Bentley the bonnet ornament should give you a clue

From the motor museum we went to the Haverthwaite railway station for lunch, then a mooch round the engine shed and platform.
