Lake District 2014 And Finally Fungi!!

Ok so your thinking he's been in the Lake District for nine days and not one photograph of a fungi!!

So here goes all the fungi I have seen in one hit!!!

Lake District 2014 Day 8

To day was wet but Chris Steve and I went for a short walk round Levens Park, light was poor so some of these shots my be a bit blurred.

Levens Hall is owned by the Bagot family which wont mean much to most of you but will to my brothers and make the first two photos of interest.

Yesterday on our way home we stopped in Kendal and Alice took us up to see the Owls from the local rescue centre

Lake District Day seven Windermere

So today was are chance to get out and have a lakeside picnic with Tom, parking near St Marys Church we walked down past a tumbling stream to the shore of Windermere where we had lunch. The weather was actually better than forecast with the rain at 1pm not materialising.
