Today involved a drive to Keswick and a visit to Castlerigg Stone Circle.

And some views around the hills that surround the stones

From Castlerigg we walked into Keswick where we had lunch in The Oddfellows Arms. 8" Yorkshire pudding full of Beef and ale stew!!! so here are som ephotos of our walk down to the town.

Blood Swept Lands and Mash Tun Built

A year after they appeared in the in the moat at The Tower of London I have worked out how to display my Poppy and commemorate two events from 1914

Mash Tun 1 was installed 1914 at The Faversham Brewery known to most People as Shepherd Neame, it is one of only two solid oak mash tons still in use in Britain's Breweries and is the oldest.

Sheps made a special brew to celebrate its centenary which was sold in a wooden box

so combining the Mash Tun One bottle and box and the Poppy from the Tower

made sense especial as I don't have a garden.
